About Me

AI, systems, and the human work of making technology useful

I build thoughtful systems at the intersection of artificial intelligence, engineering, design, and human behavior.

Portrait of Sayre Blake

I'm Sayre Blake, CEO of SkillSaige and a systems engineer, programmer, designer, and artist. My work focuses on how complex technology like AI and Unity3D can become more useful, humane, and understandable in the hands of real people through sustainable design.

For more than a decade, I've worked across software, systems architecture, AI integration, learning technology, games, and visual development in the difficult middle ground where technical constraints, human needs, and strong visual language all have to balance in harmony with limited resources.

At SkillSaige, I'm building a training solution for the interpersonal work that too often gets reduced to a one-off lesson. The goal isn't to automate people (spoiler alert: we can't), but to give them clear, repeatable ways to rehearse the moments that matter no matter their experience. That same principle guides my wider work with interactive technologies and my desire to find grounded, sensible, and ethical ways to use technology for all.
